Sculptra is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid treatment that supports gradual improvement in facial wrinkles and contours. It differs from an immediate-volume hyaluronic acid filler.

Suitability and important considerations
Possible effects include tenderness, swelling, bruising, infection and lumps. Rare injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage, blindness or stroke. Sudden unusual pain, skin color changes or visual symptoms require urgent medical attention. Suitability depends on the product, treatment area and medical history. Delayed nodules are possible.
